Testimonies

So this is crazy - I had been praying days in advance and was expectant for God to move that night, but little did I know that I would gain so much revelation of his calling over my life! I know I’ve been called to ministry, but unsure of where He specifically wants me. That night, the presence of the Lord was soooo heavy in that room, I was truly humbled to repentance of the doubt and insecurity that had been keeping me from receiving what He had already quietly said to me. Then you gave that word of being called to missions and it clearly confirmed something that had previously tugged my heart (but I had doubted). So thank you truly for creating a space where the spirit of God could move powerfully and pour out over his children that have been crying out to him!! PRAISE JESUS!! 

Greenhouse gave space for the Lord through His Spirit to bring things that I thought were dead back to life. It gave space for the Lord to be minstered to, for Him to minister to each leader, and enabled us to carry the Gospel to our ministries. I left encouraged, challenged, and loved!

I attended the Greenhouse worship and prayer night with an expectant heart. I’ve been leading in the young adult ministry a little over a year now, and I’ve seen God call me higher and use me in ways that are not possible with my own strength. Seeing how God has pulled things out of me that I didn’t realize were possible, has led me to consider going into ministry to allow God to continue the work he is doing. However, I have been struggling with discerning what it is God wants for me due to feeling like my current job is the calling he has on my life. So I went to Greenhouse prepared to receive whatever Jess had ready for the leaders in the room and she had referenced to Ezekiel 37, bringing dry bones back to life. This passage of scripture related to something I have been praying about for myself for weeks. That God take those bones that were once so on fire him, so bold for him, so intentional with him and bring them back to life. Jess proceeded to call on the leaders that were ready to walk out what it is God is wanting them to bring to life to come forward to receive prayer, but this time I heard the spirit tell me just to sit with him in this moment. During this time God stirred a few things in me that have led me to be in prayer about since, and that is to truly and fully surrender the concerns I have about where he is calling me to and trust that wherever he leads me, he will allow those bones to be brought back to life with boldness, courageousness, and to places that only he can call me to. 

The space of GreenHouse, where do I start?? First and foremost all glory to God for allowing us to be in such an amazing and beautiful room full of young adults that are all on fire for the Lord! The first pop up for GreenHouse was so moving and edifying! It changed my perspective on my view on the things I was struggling with as a young adult leader in my own community. The worship/prayer night was so powerful and I had a moment of grief, peace and joy because of what Jesus had done on that cross. I also received prayer and got true deliverance from my fears and anxiety that I have been dealing with since the beginning of my walk but now I am confident and understanding of where my confidence stem from and it is through Christ who instills the confidence and boldness in me and I no longer have to rely on my own strengths and understanding. It is through the spirit of the living God that resides in me that should guide and lead my steps. Greenhouse has definitely opened up my creative gifts and has allowed me to really step into the calling that God has placed in my life.
